SIK CLIMBING COACHING
ROCK CLIMBING TRAINING
Would you like to become a stronger climber and climb harder without getting injured in the process?
If the answer is YES, keep reading…
According to the Route Setter Magazine (2019), the average climbing grade is 6b+ and around 75% of the climbing population does not reach 7a.
Just over 50% train more than one day a week and if they do, they do not follow a well-systematized training plan.
For this reason, in 2008 Jones and collaborators found out that, out of 201 climbers, more than 50% suffered one or more injuries in the last 12 months.
In other words, “more than half of climbers have suffered an injury in the last year.”
Surely if you are reading this, you are a climber and you have been able to improve your performance to some extent and partially achieve your goals, but not in the way you would like. This is probably why:
You are training every week without knowing exactly what you have to do to improve.
You don’t follow any climbing training program.
You spend hours at the climbing gym without being really productive.
You don’t know when you have to increase weight, do more repetitions or adjust other variables.
You just climb without specific strenght training.
You get injured frequently, you have to stop training for a season and consequently you don’t achieve your goals.
That is what SIK Climbing Coaching is for
To help climbers to:
01
Be stronger
02
Climb harder
03
Reduce the likelihood of injury
